Solar PPA (Power Purchase Agreement)

Arni Energy introduced the Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) through distributed solar solutions in 2014. This model is also known as the “RESCO” model. Currently, Arni Energy also has a network of private offsite renewable energy farms across the globe, through which we supply large corporates with clean energy as per their requirements.

Arni Energy PPA model

Arni Energy funds and installs a rooftop or ground-mount solar power plant on your facilities and all solutions are customised as per the requirements of the customers and include carports and superstructures.

How does the model work?

Arni Energy provides Upfront investments and sets up the plant
Arni Energy signs a PPA with customers
Arni Energy does the designing, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of the plant on the premises of the customer

The customer enjoys Guaranteed Savings through a reduction in electricity bills as Arni tariffs are always lower than that of the grid

The customer only pays per kwh electricity

Capax (EPC model)

The entire investment in this model comes from the power consumer. Arni Energy provides turnkey installation of the entire solar power system and also hands over assets to the consumers. EPC also does annual operation and maintenance (O & M) of the plant on mutually agreed cost per annum. It also provides payback within 3-4years along with client benefits from Solar up to 35 years, with no bills.

Arni provides installations of the solar PV systems on the roofs of IT/business parks and office complexes, shopping complexes, godowns, cold storage, hospital and health centres on the EPC mode or Investment mode, depending on the willingness of the owner of the premises.

In the CEPX model all investments are done by consumers while in the OPEX model, investments are made by a third party. Consumers are required to sign a PPA with mutually agreed tariff and tenure.

SOLAR LEASING / PPA

Arni Energy will design, install, operate, maintain and own the solar power plant…

Customer has to sign a long term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Arni Energy.

Customer only pay for the monthly electricity consumed as per agreed tariff.

Customer will be getting cheaper electricity tariff than grid tariff.

Customer will start saving from day one.

Arni Energy will be responsible for the O&M of the solar power plant.

Customer can take the ownership of solar power plant through buy back agreement.

GREEN HYDROGEN

The Hydaptive package accelerates the path toward 100% carbon-free power generation.

Technology adapts as the grid needs larger amounts of energy storage.

Standard packages reduce the cost and complexity of decabonization.

Integrated technology adds flexibility to existing dispatchable power generation.

Solar Energy Business Models for Zero and Low Investment Adoption

Arni Energy offers flexible solar business models designed to remove financial barriers for businesses.
The focus is on enabling companies to adopt solar energy without heavy upfront investment.

These models are structured to make clean energy accessible, predictable, and financially manageable.

Solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) Model

The PPA model allows businesses to use solar energy without owning the system.
Arni Energy installs and operates the system, while the client pays only for the energy consumed.

This structure eliminates capital expenditure and shifts energy costs into operational expenses.

How the PPA Structure Works

In this model, Arni Energy handles design, installation, financing, and maintenance of the system.
The business benefits from stable electricity pricing over a long-term contract period.

This ensures predictable energy costs and reduced exposure to market price fluctuations.

CAPEX vs OPEX Energy Transition Model

Traditional energy systems require high upfront capital investment, known as CAPEX.
The PPA model converts this into OPEX, where businesses pay gradually for usage.

This improves cash flow management and reduces financial pressure on companies.

Industrial Solar Financing Solutions

Arni Energy structures financing solutions for large-scale industrial and commercial projects.
These solutions are designed to support energy transition without disrupting core business operations.

They allow companies to scale solar adoption based on financial capability and energy demand.

Long-Term Cost Stability and Energy Security

Solar business models help stabilize long-term energy expenses for companies.
They reduce dependency on fluctuating electricity prices in the traditional energy market.

This creates financial predictability and operational security over time.

Sustainability and ESG Alignment

The business model supports companies in achieving sustainability and ESG targets.
By reducing carbon emissions, businesses improve environmental compliance and reporting.

This strengthens both corporate responsibility and long-term brand positioning.

Apply for Solar Partnership

Businesses can request a custom evaluation for solar adoption based on their energy usage.
Arni Energy provides tailored proposals for both PPA and direct ownership models.

The goal is to design the most efficient and financially viable energy structure for each client.
